[Naybu]

Hey family!  I hope and pray that everyone is doing well.  I just wanted to let you all know that I took a little vacation out to sunny Southern California (LA) and Vegas last week and I ended up being selected to be in the audience of The Price Is Right.  This was amazing for me because like many of you, I grew up watching this show and hoping to one day hear the words, "Come on down!"  Well, unfortunately, I didn't hear those words spoken after my name, but it was truly an honor to even be in the audience during an actual taping.  And of course, I represented with my Tops In Blue sweatshirt (which my son tried to clown me about, but I wore it anyway).  The show airs on March 31 on CBS, so if you're not busy, you can see me in the audience.  I tried to get as much camera time as I could, and yes, had I been selected, I would have seven-stepped my tail down to contestants row!!!!  LOL!  

A bit of bad news during that trip also.  I spoke with a friend of mine that I used to sing with (he lives in LA) and I found out (for sure) that he is a producer for American Idol and had I called him as soon as I arrived in the city he would have gotten me tickets to the taping of their show...did I say, I probably would have been sitting right behind Simon and 'em????  I feel like Flawda Evans when James died on "Good Times."  Y'all know what she said!!!!!  LOL!!!
