I don't know about anyone else, but even though I've been doing my best to stay positive, my heart has been breaking a little bit each day since our priors meeting at Worldwide. I find myself spending every spare minute alone talking to God, begging Him over and over to help us figure out a way to keep TIB going. This is just some of my random thoughts put to print. Sorry if I offend anyone or if you find this a little too melodramatic.

Dearest Father in Heaven

We as priors, rookies, wannabes, and family thereof realize that we have done all we can do to save Tops in Blue. Please don't let our letters fall on deaf ears or uncaring eyes; may they have the desired impact and enlighten someone to realize who we really are as people and as a program.
We use this venue all the time to rally our friends to ask for their prayers -- for our loved ones, for sickness, illness, injury, and unfortunately, death. Likewise, we also sometimes ask for our friends' loving prayers for encouragement or celebration. Many of us have seen what this power can do when we call upon it and this reinforces what we already know and believe: that You listen and answer us when we need You.
We come to you now, a family united not by blood but by the love of performing and the love of our fellow Airmen that we have sacrificed for them so they may find a moment of happiness when they are far from home. We are a family not because of what we do, but because of what we give. Please Father, we need a miracle to save Tops in Blue. Please hear us collectively call out to You now in our moment of greatest crisis and please grant us Your intervention to keep Tops in Blue alive.

Amen and On You.

Thanks Kellee!
I've been sending up my prayers too. If there were ever a better time for a massive prayer session this would be it. I pray to God that those who are part of this budget decision process realize the impact of this program and have the strength to tell those that feel differently that the world needs positive programs like this. I can handle a budget being whittled a couple percent but cut this program and it's a huge loss for all.
That's my two cents worth.

Prayer is a power tool instilled in us by GOD as means of communication...HE heard us and has answered! I am so grateful to be apart of this family, it means the world to me. I love you all for your friendships, leardership, guidance, and just being real no matter how good it feels or how bad it hurts. Thats what it means to be a part of family! Continue to be blessed!
