Hello all. I was with TIB with Kandie, Choc, and Sunshine. I was so excited when I was listening to the radio and heard one of the JD's from the saation speaking about her time with TIB. Well I called and got the info to reach out and touch! I am doing great and still singing. I am performing at many of the jazz festivals an even have had the fortune of being noinated for a grammy. I look forward to hearing from anyone that toured with me or even those that came after me!

Keep on with this great program!!

Hello, my name is TSgt Chandra Davis and I am not a TIB current or prior. I am an admirerer with a request.

In 2004 Andrews AFB, MD put on a show called Andrews Idol. It's exactly what it sounds like. We held singing tryouts for anyone mil or civ that was DoD affeliated and over 18. They tryed out for 6 weeks and then went to a semi final where we narrowed 90 down to 15. After those were chosen, some former TIP's graciously volunteered of their time to guide these talented singers through to the finale.

The former TIB's helped us create the singers finale (just like the show) and worked one on one with all of the finalists in regards to all aspects of their talent and performances. Andrews Idol 2004 filled the 940 seater base theater and we sent the runner runner up (the winner was over 30) to tryout in Cali for American Idol that year. The winner did take home $1000 though.

It was a thrilling event expecially being that the enitre Andrews AFB community participated. We held tryouts in the chow halls and right in the middle of the BX food court. People loved it.

Well we're doing the show again this year in July and I'm here requesting any support that may be out there. I was the shows director in 04 but I PCS'ed right after (literally, the next day) and I didn't plan to come back here so I don't have all of the names of the former TIB's that helped us out. When I returned last Oct, practiacally everyone who saw me asked about another show so I finally gave in. We've just started production and advertising will begin at the end of this month.

I have the names a Lorna and a Noah Dula written down in a notebook but I don't have any contact info. Any assistance that can be provided in contacting them or volunteering your own valuable time will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hello family (and how it has grown),
Saw the show at the Nutter Center this past Wednesday with Stan Rolf, who has been coming to Dayton now to see the show with me for some time, and was ecstatic to meet a whole bunch of folks who are now here at Wright Patt. Needless to say- the team did an outstanding performance, and my son and daughter came with me to see what dad did 23 years ago while they were still twinkles in God's eye. They knew a lot of the music, and I think that my son was very impressed with the show. My congratulations to Barry Best for his wonderful music arrangement. I loved the Earth Wind and Fire renditions very much. The horn section ROCKED!!!!! A friend of mine-MSgt Tracey Bender, wanted to wish the team the best. She is in Vegas renewing wedding vows, and probably has not had a chance to see the show. She did want to be remembered to the team.
Every year it just keeps getting better and better, or else I have become less critical of people? What do you say, Stan? It was good to see you again. Until next year, bro.
Best of luck to the team as you finish out your tour. Don't hit the wall too hard. And Barry- I hope to see you at the next reunion when I can play for you and the Chief, if you will have me.

The Best always:

What does P.Diddy and Kahlil Ashanti have in common?

How about Kahlil's one man play! It has been picked up by BAD BOY SUPER PRODUCER Sean "P.Diddy" Combs!

That's right! Diddy and Kahlil will be working together to put Kahlil's one man show into the next level and then some!

Send Kahlil some love and congrats! My Brother is doing big things and can only pray that I follow in his foot steps!

All Kahlil asks is that all requests for Bad Boy new music and Sean John clothes be sent to the following email address: ucrazyazhe11@badboy.com

Peace and MUCH RESPECT AND CONGRATS TO KAHLIL aka "K.Diddy"!!!

I'm looking to find a dear friend of mine (Douglas Washington) that was stationed at Patrick AFB when he was selected as a performer for Tops In Blue. I believe he performered for several years and I'm trying to locate his whereabouts. If anyone has any information or an email address for Doug, I would appreciate if you could share it with me. He was one dancing machine and I'm sure he added lots of spice during his tour with TIB. Look forward to hearing from someone.
