Hello all out in Blueland!!! It's been a while since I've come on here. Just wanted to give a shout-out to TIB '04, and of course '93. I pray that all is well with you guys. TIB '05 is holdin' it down in staging. To those wondering, when the schedule is completed, I'm sure Bob will have a copy on this site, so please be patient. Mandy, just click on the tab at the top of this page and it'll give you the info you need on trying out. Hopefully, there are priors in your area that may be able to help you. God Bless you in your quest for TIB!!

Stacy, uhum, tell Christian I said he just learned how to salsa, like yesterday, so don't get too happy!!! LOL!!!

Happy Birthday to Baby Girl Takeesha!!! I promise I'll sing you a song next time I see you. Have you been watching SO? I've totally lost interest in it. Well, maybe cause I NEVER see it anymore since I'm down here! LOL!!

To all my Blue brothers and sisters (too many to mention, cause I'll get cussed if I forget), please know that I love you and think about you guys often.

I need some prayer warriors out there lifting me up in prayer if you could. I've got to make some decisions real soon, and I just need to make sure I'm making the right moves. All good moves, of course. Thanks again. Love ya!!

It has been sometime since I posted but as with most in the same situation, a posting has come about because of a connection with a fellow prior.(we truly are everwhere)

The NASCAR tour has it's stop this week in Dover Delaware, and out of the blue the security guard at our stage/Mobile Telivision studio banged on my trailer door and said there was someone outside to see me. I knew it was way too early for the camera crew to arrive, so my curiosity got the better of me. Low and behold it was the one and only Dave Jackson. I gave him a tour of our mobile television world, rapped about old times and so forth. He just got me to remembering some folks and I just thought I would send a hello out to everyone.
Also a big hello to Ian, Angie and Kristen from 2002 who went out of thier way too stop by the racetrack in Atlanta and catch up on old times.
NASCAR world is just as hectic as ever, the tour never stops going and the projects keep getting bigger.
Hope all is well, and those who are chasing thier dreams finally catch them!

Miss Glo -- think of ya often
Ed -------- still putting all of your advice to practical use
2001 ------ hope everyone is doing well

Matt Dechant,
I feel you on your "GEICO" post. Before going on the TIB road, I had switched insurance companies FROM geico but GEICO kept taking the $117/month out of my account....at least after 7 months, they reimbursed me for the extra charges.....it worked out like a savings plan of sorts (of course with no interest)....

Well other than my driver getting knocked into the wall by Mr Stewart.. My weekend at the races was highlighted by spending some time with Gary D. at the speed channel set at Dover international speedway. Gary is yet more proof that priors can go on to do great and challenging things. Gary is doing something that he loves and is great at it! As much as I enjoy NASCAR I do envy him in some weird twisted DW kinda way. We had a great visit and he gave me the grand tour. I am lookimg forward to his return in September. We would have never met had we not tried out and toured together. It has been a blessing and a pleasure to live with and love him. NOT ONE ARGUMENT!! He's still being a gentleman and keeping all my co-workers jealous. He makes it very easy to be a good wife. It's been wonderful.

Hey what's up JDV. I can't to see ya man. We're ready to move and we're excited. All I need is to outprocess which can be scary.

- One thing i'd like to share with my TIB family was how TAP (Transition Assistance Program) helped me with my outprocessing.
I was really very nervous about separating but now that I've just finished taking the TAP (Transition assistance program), I feel more than comfortable about the next step. Although still a little nervous, I feel a lot more relaxed because this program has shown me how I stack up with the competition. It's amazing. I highly encourage anyone considering to separate or just get a head start on your career, go to the Family Support Center and utilize them. You'll pay big bucks in the outside world for that kind of help. They'll help you with resume's, they have a ton of contacts nationwide, they teach you how to negotiate your salary and other priceless skills. I loved my expeience and it's helped me become very prepared for the next step.

-04 miss you guys
-05 keep your heads up. you've already done more than you know. let me know if you need anyhing or just wanna chat. I would love to help.

I have been doing hypnosis shows here in the south-east and I am finding that I now might need to find someone to handle the bookings (and my calendar) and using an agency seems to be the best way to do that. I need to find an agent. Does anyone have good information on a talent agency that is representing new clients? Any praise or horror stories--I need to know that too. Shouts of encouragement go out to TIB 05.
It has been almost twenty years since I toured and I still remember staging .It was a time of hard work ,little sleep , frustration and even desperation but also a time of bonding and making life long friends IE:FAMILY.
Cherish every single moment and learn those things that go beyond the stage, the lights and the sound ,the long hours and travel and hardships.TIB is so very much more than puting on a show and entertaining. It is a life experience that carries over into your life walk long after the lights go down and the applause stops.
Gleen from this and you will all benefit greatly.
On my home front ,I am still traveling just came back from ST.LOUIS and in August will be going to Italy.God is so good and what I learned in my time of TIB has given me many tools to serve in a diffrent venue .I am so grateful.I know all the priors out there know just what I mean.
MUCH BLUE LOVE TO ALL

Hey everyone. So, I would just like to let everyone know about my situation. Through the wonderful technology known as VoIP, I have a stateside phone number even though I am in Korea. So, for those of you who would be interested in calling me, you may now reach me at (216)373-6977. There is one caveat though. Until I receive my equipent, I will not actually be able to make/receive calls for about 2 weeks. However, this does not prevent you from calling and leaving me a voicemail to check. By all means. That's it.

2005, I hope you all are doing well. I can't wait to see you guys when you get here in December. Oh yes, I'll be here, I'll also be here when 2006 rolls through. Anyway, keep your spirits up, and keep on keepin' on. Life's a garden: Dig it.

Attn prior drummers: I'm trying to get in touch with a drummer that I jammed with in 1999. I cannot remember his name but know he was a prior. We jammed at Prince Sultan Air Base in 1999 in what was known as the "Morale Band's building" at the time. The time frame was Aug-Sept. (TDY) and we jammed with a Keyboard player, You (whoever you are?) on drums, and myself playing guitar. TO help try to jog the memory banks, One of the jam sessions we had a sax player show up and we turned most of the lights out in the room and just went to town. I believe the person was either a SSgt or TSgt and at the same time I was doing lead guitar for the Moral band. If anyone knows who this might be please send me an e-mail, I'd be interested in hearing from him again.

Hey everybody! I moved into my new apartment last weekend. In an attempt to avoid "the wall" I declined any help moving from my dorm room to my apartment. I did it all by myself in about 4 hours, lol.

Stacy, and Chris good luck to you guys! I'm about 6 hours away from orlando, maybe I'll swing by some time.

Erin, and John I'm gonna try to visit you guys this winter and teach you how to snowboard! ...maybe, if I have enough leave.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well!!

Take care,

Dave,
It was always a pleasant surprise when you showed up at one of our shows, I hope 05' gets to see you as much as we did.

Oh one more thing. I've been up for like 28 hours for reasons that I wont get into... and it made me realize how much I miss that 2nd wind after you've been up this long. This is a call out to all TIB priors who would like to be POC's for nurturing TIB hopefuls. I am trying to compile a list of priors who are willing to be contacted by those who are interested in talking with someone locally about the program and preparing them for submitting thier tapes for worldwide. Please submit your name, year toured, contact number/email and what area you are from and bases that are near you. I need people who are willing to dedicate their time to these folks.

Unfortunately, at staging, I do not have an email account, so if you could please send your info to castlejl99@verizon.net or post it here. Thank you!

It's getting late here in Ga! I was cleaning out some drawers the other night as I am a tiny little pack rat...cards, pictures, etc. Guess what I found? I found 2 audio tapes I made on the night of our final banquet! I recorded some in the limo on the way over. It was so good to hear Mr. Miles tell his jokes again!
And everyone pickin' on Dave. I still have more to listen to!

Last night I had this dream that our tour had finally finished (after all these years I guess) and we were on Good Morning America...but we were flying in like astronauts and waving into the cameras. ha ha...We were all so proud of ourselves that we made it! I was balling my eyes out in my dream because I was so proud!

I miss my TIB 99 family tonight. I wonder what everyone is doing and I wish somehow we could all get together again! I send you all my love!

It took bumping into the Saxophone player from TIB 04 to realize I haven’t been in touch in quite a long time… So what has two years away from Tops In Blue taught me?

I am dang proud of the folks I toured with and their individual accomplishments.

I can’t help but smile when TIB is mentioned in conversation around folks that don’t know me.

Being part of Tops In Blue is a worthy cause and I encourage anyone with ambition and desire to give it a shot, just expect a lot of hard work. (Note: Nothing worthwhile comes free or easy.)

TIB 2004, I am sorry I missed the show. I was sent on a last minute TDY for a month one week before you got into town. I was there in spirit.

For those going through staging, I ran across this quote, “The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is that one comes from a strong will, and the other from a strong won't. ~Henry Ward Beecher”

For everyone else, I didn’t fall off the face of the earth, I was just cheering for you all in my own quiet way. However, I’m there if you need me.

I know there are about 36 Michael Scotts on the AF Global. I’m the Capt Scott at AFOTEC HQ, Kirtland AFB. Feel free to email me.

Respectfully,
Michael

Hope all is going well with all the priors and the newest additions to the family.

TIB 85 - The only advice I can give at this time is listen, learn and believe in your mission. What you are doing is very very very .. . . . . . very important !!!!!!

An update on me. Law school did not work out. But I am in pre-nursing. Hopefully this will lead to a rich (emotionally), rewarding and productive career where I can be a possitive force for those in need.

I have a small favor to ask of the family.

My mother is going into surgery tomorrow. Her chances are extremely high for repair and recovery, but a few extra prayers couldn't hurt.

So far as me, I am not important. The only prayer for me would be to ask that I retain a clear head and that all decissions be in her best interest. Her recovery, and long happy life are of paramont importance.

Thanks!

Blue love and the best to TIB 85 and all the priors. And those that know me know I hold in strongest belief that even though many of us are labeled priors, for those (which are most) with the heart their is no such thing as a prior. As we said in '83 "Once Tops in Blue, Always Tops in Blue". What a proud thing to say.

Blue love

The only thing better than watching the "Bad Boys" the Remix, tell the Spurs That "if you want, you got to come take it", was watching the cast sing the National Anthem. I started hollering and singing and the guys in the sports bar couldn't figure me out. They didn't believe me when I told them that was my family on TV, until I laid my Tour Ring on them. As Road Warrior Hawk would say. "What a Rush"
By the way, the parade in San Antonio for Thursday has been cancelled due to a spell of Chokeing by the Spurs. Stay tuned on Thursday night for further developments. "HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME"

THE PARADE WAS NOT CANCELLED, JUST POSTPONED UNTIL SATURDAY.
CHIEF HAS SCHEDULED THE TIB TEAM FOR AN ALL NIGHTER ON THURSDAY, SO HE TOLD THE SPURS TEAM TO HOLD OFF WINNING THE CHAMPIONSHIP UNTIL THURSDAY, SO HE CAN MAKE THE PARADE ON SATURDAY. HUH.

TIB 2005,
What a GREAT job you did last night! I was so nervous for you and I had the chills the whole entire time. You truly made all of us priors proud! And I'm jealous.......
Chief, I have to say you did again. I just don't know how you do it. By the way, that's about the only time you'll catch me watching sports on T.V. Of course, after TIB was done I flipped the channel, but I did learn a little about Horry :-) as I didn't want to miss a minute of my family singing the National Anthem, so I had to watch the pre-game stuff.
Much love to all my Blue Family.

Someone please tell me there is a misprint on the schedule. I looked and didn't see Scott AFB on there. Please tell me Scott will be having a show. Or that I just missed seeing it on there. That will be my only chance to see the show. I'd love to help at WW this year, but I'll be in the middle of my third trimester, so working long hours just won't be a good thing at that time. Yes, we have baby #2 on the way and we are thrilled! So, please make this pregnant woman happy and let me know if there is a show date scheduled for Scott.
Thanks
Lola

TIB '05,

Congrats on last nights show. I was so cool seeing you all. To see how we all were at world wide to were you are now is just awesome. I watched it with my wife and taped it also. I bet I have watched it 10 times already. I would point people out to my wife Carrie. This person was on my team......this person sang this song and so on. With all the people on the court you still stayed professional and marched off. My mother called and commented on how professional that was. The little things catch the public eye. Congrats.

ALL your hard work is paying off. I loved the version that you sang. When the guys came in it sent chills down my spine. You represented the Air Force better than anyone. With all that is going on in the world today you are still able to show the WORLD that you are still here for our country, our Air Force, and our family.

You all looked great, sounded awesome, and showed true spirit. I will try to make the tour until the day I die. I only hope that one day I will be a part of what you as TIB have accomplished. All the hard work, strength as a family, and an representative for the greatest nation on Earth.

Sniff, sniff... (tears of pride) didn't those youngens
do an awesome job? I was SOOOooo proud! I'd emailed everyone I
knew & told them to make sure they turned on the tube in time to
hear the National Anthem. My inbox was FULL today, of great
comments about 05! The multi service Honor Guard--Nice. The
flags of the NBA players from other countries--Nice. It was
ALL good.

Sniff, sniff... (tears of sorrow) we got spanked. GOT to do
better tomorrow!

Stan -- My man, you should just git that thing plucked once &

Won't hurt... I promise!

Also, for those priors that returned to the fold after 2003, you can now see the 50th anniversary program online, right here. It's a 6 MB file so it will take some time to load.

Ashley & I had the privilege of spending an evening with Tommy Mason this weekend. He was passing through here trying to catch a ride back to the states and posted a message so I called him as any prior would do. His visit was "right on time". It's nice to take to someone whom you've never met and both of you fight to get a word in because you have so much to say and you both can relate to what each other is saying.

We had to cut dinner short because Ashley and I were meeting someone about a wedding gig. They wanted to hear us sing so we set up a meeting at a local karaoke joint so he could read the words in Japanese as they appeared on the screen in order to understand the message of each song(he was Japanese, of course). Well, we figured we'd just take Tommy with us. He graced us with a few songs and lo and behold the brotha stills holds his mic like a TIB vocalist.

Tommy, we wish you safe travels and all the best in you future endeavors. Thank you for the encouraging words to Ashley.

Clearence Jenkins-There's a prior less than a mile away from you. Click the blue name up top and shoot a brotha an email.

04-Hope all is well. email me and let me know what's up

What's up Blue!

Man, it seems like forever since I have posted on here. I have so much to tell that I hardley know where to start, so if you want to know call me! ;) ha!

Gina, congrats on making master, you deserve it.

Kahlil, good talking to you the other day! I'll be there in June, no matter what!

Just so everybody knows Katie P. looooooovvvvvveeeessss to teardown! ha!

Amber G., let me know how you are coming on the house. I will make sure you are in good hands.

Honestly guys, I have just been extremely busy here in Tampa. I am doing good and taking care of business out here. I am running a business with a friend of mine and I can't wait to grow this company through the roof. The football season for my little league team will be starting July 11th and I am very excited about that. For anybody who doesn't know we took last year's team to the Super Bowl and WON! It is going to be another great season, and I am very excited about coaching again this year. Working with kids is such an incredible experience, it is hard to put it into words.

To my teams, past and present, please know that you are thought of daily! I hear songs in a mall or in a shopping center and I can see all of your beautiful faces on stage performing them. It makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!

Before I forget... I talked to a Tops In Blue legend the other day namely: Mike Wilkinson, and he wanted me to pass on his phone number so you guys can call him. He misses everybody and would love to hear from you. Here is his number: 830-743-0327 this is his cell number. This is the "only" number he has.

I've taken up enough room on here, couple of quick shout outs: Greg Jordan how are you brother? Call me! Walt, you so crazy! Will, hit me up, Ed, keep doing yo thang! Quez, make sure you work on the short game, cuz the next time we get on the course I'm gonna wear you out,ha! Fernando, keep up the good work! To TIB 2005 great job at the Finals, we are all very proud of you!! Chief, Thank you!

Shane's Tour Phrases- "I need all the type 2's in the World!" , " I can't stress this enough!" , "Fernando, get to work!" , "Where is Walt?" (under the stage asleep) , "Weeeeeeee Looooooove to teardown!"

I'm out,

Coach Shane

For those in the San Antonio area... I'll be performing on July 7, 2005 at the Municipal Auditorium.

You'll never guess who I'll be performing with...
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
The 2005 United States Army Soldier Show!

That's right, they Army (MWR) folks from Ft. Sam Houston (here in San Antonio) called and want me to "warm up" the audience before the Army Soldier Show. It is an honor and previlage, and know that I will represent Tops In Blue to the fullest. (with pendant and ring on full BLING!)

Appearantly someone saw me at Worldwide and suggested they use me when the Army Soldier Show came back to town. If your in the area, please come on out and support your Blue Brother.

2005... You'll be on the road most likely or still working out kinks in the show. Best of Luck on your journey on the road. Try and remember that the folks you hate right now... most likely will be your best friends while on the road. Also, save up some money for the cool shopping trips (especially at Osan)!! A $100 a check (that $200 a month) will ensure you have plenty of stuff in the Music booths when you return to the Production Center. Also, take pictures, pictures, pictures. No one can see your memories in your head! (Although, some may need to stay there and not end up on Kodak paper!)

Peace...
Walt-Teezy

PS: Shane, I wasn't asleep. I was meditating! Yeah that's the ticket!

Greetings Family in Blue...

Been a while since I've been on board, but wanted to take a moment for a couple of shout-outs...

TIB '05 - Congrats on your outstanding performance at the Finals! As you hit the road this weekend, remember that you'll be continuing the legacy of TIB and all of the priors who've gone before you. If your performance at the Finals is any indication, I know you'll do us proud. Wishing you the best and God's blessings during your tour.

CHIEF - Congrats on the World Champion SPURS!!!! Basic basketball at it's best! Love it! T.D. showed 'em that winning is not a matter of flash and dash, it's a matter of heart. Next year it's Spurs and Knicks! (Okay, I can dream can't I?) Please give my best to Linda!

GINA - Congrats on that Master stripe! Yo go girl!

KAHLIL - Saw you listed as an actor on the IMDB for "Bee" - How cool is that? Also saw you're going to be in my hometown (the Big Apple) in July doing your show - Can't tell you how proud I am!

WALT - Proud o' you too! Keepin' it real, keepin' it honest... but most of all, keepin' it silly! Keep keepin' on... And keep a brother informed...

MIKE LIGHT STAGE - Glad to hear your mom's surgery went well. (TIB '83 still rules!)

FRANCINE - Hey Girl, how (and where) are you? Sending much blue love your way!... Hugs, hugs, and more hugs.

ERIN - Prayers for your and your mom.

ALL THE FAMILY - Love, peace and God's blessings to you all. And remember: "Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here, we might as well dance!"

Forever Blue
I'm out...
T.A.

Hi Blue,

So I'm going to move to Colorado, and I was wondering if anyone lives out there. Either around Colorado Springs or Denver. It would be great to have someone to talk to about housing, jobs, life, ect. Let me know!

To everyone else, I hope all is well,
Monica

Hello there Big Brother!

Mmmmmm.... LOVE those hugs, thanks.

Knicks? Well, just keep dreaming T.A.! I was a Spurs fan when they
were still being halted at the conference SEMIfinals!
--Don't stop believing. :-)

I'm doing OK--May as well dance, right? I LOVE THAT!

I'm in Colorado Springs, with the "ole Drummer" & the ultimate
"gear Grinder." Haven't seen either of them yet, but know I will
soon when the team comes thru.

Looking forward to the next time I can get one of those hugs in person. You're still on my "TOP 5 Bestest Huggers of ALL TIME" list.

Love you sooooo much,
Francine

I'm in the CENTCOM AOR - Not to be too specific on a public forum but it looks as if the tour will be coming through here in a few weeks. I'm working night-shift but am trying to arrange time off to not only see the show but help set-up/tear-down. I'm sure our MWR folks here have all the official stuff handled but if any of the cast or staff has anything I can do to help please let me know.

"Lick the Bowl!" The troops from Team 1 (Fernando, Andrew, Ceterika, Erika, & Aisha) should be able to explain that.

Big Mouth La-Kee, can I announce some news.....Please....
Yes, yes, another one has crossed over. It's both happy and sad news. But we are happy, delighted, overjoyed to have Joshua here with us. Thanks again to the best Entertainment trainging of TIB.
But rest assured he will be back to give back to blue.
Congratulations Josh.
