Monica, I just got on the board after a little while away. I am sorry to hear about your Dad. I had the same feeling about mine when he died, and though we hadn't spoken in 14 years, I don't really have any regret. I guess I did think at one point that I wished he would have realized his wrong doings and apologize for the childhood that he forced us to suffer through. Enough about my life story though, I hope that you are doing alright. If you need me, call.

Kahlil>>>>> was thinking about you. I am so proud of you I wish I could hear from you sometime. I know that you are a busy man! Congrats on all of your success! you know that you are more than deserving. I love you Brother.

anyone call if you want to talk or need someone. I love TIB!!!!!! God Bless!

To all of us July babies another golden year has passed and a new one glimmers in front of us! Happy Birthdays!

ATTENTION
Subject: CELL PHONE NUMBERS

JUST A REMINDER... 31 days from today, cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale calls.YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS... These telemarketers will eat up your free minutes and end up costing you money in the long run.

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:
888/382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years.

PASS THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS; Or you can register on line at:
www.donotcall.gov

The way the original message is phrased fits with various urban legends reports, however in this case there is no harm in registering your number. The "urban legend" is more about how the typical message like the one above makes it sound like you're suddenly going to get bombarded with telemarketing calls on your cell that you have to pay for, which isn't the case. However, you *can* still receive telemarketing calls on your cell if they are placed by a real live human instead of an automated calling service. Not likely, but possible. Plus it certainly is a good idea to sign up if you have a regular land line. Unless of course you like getting woken up or interrupted at dinner by an automated message trying to "save you thousands on your mortgage". :-)

Go to this site (operated by the Direct Marketing Ass'n) and fill out some forms to be taken off mailing lists and phone lists. I use it, it is almost 100% effective. It may take a month or so for the changes to be propagated throughout the direct marketing world, but it does work. (it won't stop junk mail addressed to "resident" or "current occupant" though)

Unfortunately, you must redo the forms every few years.

Just got back from 2 weeks of leave and everything is going great. I spent a week in Georgia with Darryl McEachin and got in some much needed relaxation. I also got to see the matts. antonio, and Starr came down to see me and we went to ATL to see amber!! Thank you all for a wonderful week. And a very special thank you to Mr. Barry Best for the 3 wonderul days in the country. If you ever need another frog lifeguard don't hesitate to call. Thanks also to Jamie and John Link for having me in your wedding. I have never seen a more beautiful bride!!!
Ricky, if you can please email me the pictures that you took I would greatly appreciate it. Crystal, I hope to see you again, it was so nice to finally meet you.

My new exciting news is that I am moving into a house on base on the 15th. It's 2 bedrooms and amzingly enough both the front and back yards have thick, dark green grass. a rarity here in the middle of the desert. Yesterday and today I went shopping and got kitchen and bathroom stuff. I am most looking forward to painting the walls!! I can pretty much do what I want since they are tearing the houses down next year.

Laura- please send me a current address to me and I will send your cd. my email is af_flute@hotmail.com

manfred- thanks for the email at work, my day can always use a little british!!

Mr. Edwards and Jerri- I really wish I was able to come down and help out. I can't tell you how disappointed I am, but please don't forget about me for WW in Nov. If i have to I will take leave. Terri, thanks for trying.

Sorry for being long winded but I'm really starting to miss my TIB family. I wish we could all have the best of both worlds.

I have been hit to Cross train and these are the ones I like from the list.

Radio & Broadcasting **MARCIE... WHERE YOU AT?**
Contracting
Diagnostic Imaging (aka X-Ray Tech)
Communications-Computer Systems Programming (aka Jim Wintermyre..joking!)
Infomation Management (aka Miss "Golden" Glo)

My package for ALS instructor is still under review. Keep praying! I feel like Ms. Shug in Color Purple....

Walt, if you are concerned about your future after the military, I would suggest X-ray tech. I often think that what Melisio (crazy Mexican trumpet player) was doing is a wise idea. Unless you have an affinity towards computers (I think Jim W just has the genes to be good at whatever he wants to....to aspire to be like him is futile....it is near impossibility.....he is almost like the Borg of ONE!)...you need to constantly keep up with what is going on and in some cases keep updating your certifications, etc....and what you need to know for the cert tests probably have little to do with the scope of your everyday work.
Anyway, just my take on it. I am an "App support, wannabe PERL guru, HP OVO Admin, overall operations and documentation, thinks there are too many windows machines out there" type of guy.

Am I on a window box....oh crap....REBOOT !!!

Sorry I have been unable to get online for a while but I wanted to thank you all for your prayers concerning my mother. Come to find out the head Cardiologist called and wanted to evaluate her himself. He has decided not to do another bypass surgery. It is scar tissue causing the blockage and he doesnt want to risk making it worse. I believe this was an answer to prayer. She had not fully recovered from the last surgery and if this one had gone on it would have been a long hard recovery. Thank you all so much.
I love you all and miss my "Blue" family.

Walt...I would have to agree with Teiga. If you want to set yourself up for the civilian life I would go with X-Ray. Actually, that's what I wanted to be when I came in, but there was a year wait for the tech school. It is a long training program though. You have tech school and then phase I & II training that you must go through. If memory serves me correctly, I think it takes almost a year before everything's said and done. It may be different now...that was 13 years ago. But, I think that it's well worth the time and effort. Plus...I think you would have a great "bedside" manner and easly use your God-given talents to put people at ease. Whatever you choose, I know that you'll do well. I pray that the ALS instructor position becomes yours because I know that's what you want.

I am currently vacationing in Susanville, northern Cali at my girlfriend's mom's house! I love not having to work! Anyway, I will be working at Beale AFB once again at the very end of August and will be there for the next year and a half until I separate or whatever else comes my way. I live in a nice place not too far from base called Nevada City. It's right close to a mecca of mountain biking called Downieville and not so far from a few other places called Boreal, Sugarloaf, Tahoe and so on. So if anyone is gonna be up here look me up and we'll have ourselves a good time. Anyway, to all the other people that I haven't seen or talked to I love you guys and congratulations to everybody pursuing their dreams and making things happen!!

Hey Blue, I've never done anything like this and I feel selfish for even asking, but I'm going through an extremely difficult time (nothing like someone dangling your entire career before your eyes everyday) and I sure could use some uplifting. Hang in there Kerri! & Don’t empower whoever is being ugly, by
letting them get to your spirit. Just keep pressing on, doing what
you know is right, doing what it is that you do, in the best way you
possibly can. Remember: "ALL things work out for the good!"
...You just have to believe.

Take it from Glenda--
"If you believe... within your heart you’ll know,
That no one can change the path you must go.
Believe what you feel and know that you’re right
because the time will come around when you say it’s yours."

WE believe in you, & will indeed... Lift you up.

Kahlil -- Words can't express.

The words that really jumped out at me from your post, Marie,
were "...and there was peace." It perplexes me, how we will
ever be at peace, when so many of our religions teach differently
regarding the means to that end. With every news broadcast... my
heart ACHES for "world peace." I just pray that Victor Hugo was
inspired (vs wishful) when he wrote:

"A day will come when a cannon (I'd like to change out "a
cannon" for "instruments of war") will be exhibited in museums,
just as instruments of torture are now, and the people will be
astonished that such a thing could have been."

Obviously, our children have already seen too much... I just
hope it isn't unrealistic to pray for our grandchildren to be
so "astonished."

Be safe '05, & all you deployed BLUE folk!

& back to Kahlil... Wow.

Well,

It has come to my attention that finance offices on bases across the AF are ignorant to the fact that if you tour and go to a Hostile Fire location...which all tours do...you SHOULD receive the hostile fire, combat zone tax exlusion pay...
If you have toured...and filed a travel voucher (which you should have) and did not receive this...contact your office immmediately! If they tell you you are not entitled to it, call me and I will make sure you get paid what you are owed. My cell is 727-417-5490. Please call finance and ask if you got it paid first if you are unsure. This goes for both 03 and 04...and of course 02, but i think we got all you 02'ers squared away.

Hope everyone is well.

I was just talking to Paul Libby, and it appears that people at the community center at his base (Beale) were not aware that WW is going to be in November this year. I would hate to see like 5 people show up at WW this year because a bunch of people didn't know they had to get their videos in earlier this time. (Because then I'd have to get up on stage and show Walt a couple things about comedy... doh!)

So all you active duty folks, make sure the people at the community center at your base know about the dates for WW this year!

Thank you for the lessons in selflessness, patience, and perserverance. I have learned to so much about my self on this journey toward Tops In Blue. Some of the lessons, I did not want to hear, but in the end they taught me more about what I still had yet to become.
Mr. Edwards,Mr. Jones and Ms. Jeri, thank you for giving me the chance to prove myself on more then one occasion and Thank You for believing in me. I hope that in the future I will have another opportunity to do so, this time I will be fully ready to face the challenge and give it up.
Ms. Teri, Ms. Glo, and AFE staff, thank you for all you do, thanks for the smiles and great conversations.
TIB Priors, all that I have met over the years (you know who you are). Thank you for your kindness, and encouragement. I have never met a group of people so dedicated to helping others.
I am truly honored to have been in your presence. TIB04, I pray that you are all doing well and hope to continue to stay in touch with you. TIB05 stay safe and remember to have fun.
I pray that you all stay in good health, spirits and are blessed each and every day. Good luck and God Speed.

Toya Jane... happy birthday (late) and sorry about the oversight, but if you'll remember, '04 was like 4 days long. I think I remember a show day... a travel day... a travel show day... and an off day... and I think we repeated those a few times?! :) Anyway, hope you stayed dry this birthday and loved every minute of it. Can't wait to see you all bride-ed out in October. Love ya Mrs. Floyd!!!

WALT, call me if you need some splainin on the imaging dept. (Especially in the AF!!) I myself have evovled into the systems aspect in Radiology on the civilian side now. We are called PACS administrators. You have to be efficient all around with multi platformed boxes which can include MAC, continuous rebooted Windows, Unix, Linux,etc... as well as have your networking/troubleshooting chops and on top of all that, hone in on your applications so you can help out your users throughout the hospital. Average pay in the U.S. is around 50k-125k per year. There are many avenues within the radiology field, but now matter what... the music bug will always knaw at you. Everytime I gig, I am actually losing money because I have to ask someone else to take my call, but I don't care. In fact I have begun to take music courses here in San Anotnio. Why? because music never left me and I want to get better all around and not just rely on my crazy Mexican trumpet skills (here that Tiega!). So give me a call 210-373-2873.
Tiega miss ya man. Give me a call as well, love to here from ya.

Man...Talk about flashbacks!!!! I'm at my TDY location here and I go to church. Well, the church folks wanted me to help run audio at this play. So, I said sure. Well, they wanted me to find two old-school jams to use in the play. One was supposed to be fast and the other slow. The fast one was Ladies Night...that's a cool song. However, there was no question as to what the slow one was going to be...HERE AND NOW by Joshua Moreaux....I mean Luther. :) I was truly missing my boy. But then what happens...I go to the play and my band opens up. Then a girl comes up and tells us it's her last day in theater and she wants to leave us with a song. What song did she pick? Eyes on the Sparrow! All I could think of the whole time was, "She aint got nothin' on Chad "Trick Ho" Goff! :) I'm missing my peoples and I hope and pray that I can come to WW in November. God Bless my 03 family and then the rest of the TIB Family!

Under New Ownership

After 10 years of running the TIB Priors site, it is time for me to move on. Chris Burch (TIB 98) is running the show now.

Unlike TA's newsletter, the bulletin board was a 24/7 operation requiring constant attention, partly to make sure it was working but mostly to make sure that no inappropriate messages had been posted. Rarely did that happen but I felt that TOPS IN BLUE was too important to let things slide. A copy of each bulletin board message was e-mailed to me, and after seven years of checking my e-mail at least once and usually three or four times a day, 7 days a week, I am simply tired of checking my e-mail. I also felt I had to do that in the event some non-priors asked me a question. Some did, and each one was answered, even if it was simply "call 210-652-6566". These were standards imposed by me.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention Tom Edwards and the freedom of judgment I was allowed. While it's true I never asked for Tom's permission to do the site, once he was aware, he never told me what should be on it. I'm sure at times Tom wanted me to do something other than what I did, but in the end, I was the one who ran the site. Thanks Chief.

The primary reason I'm giving up the site is desire. I no longer want to do it. I couldn't let it wither on the vine, nor could I simply shut it down. Ten years have passed since I started the site back in September 1995. I wanted to shut it down as early as the year 2000 but I couldn't because I knew how valuable the site was to everyone, so I felt I had to continue until at least the 50th reunion. That has now passed, so it is time for me to move on. This generator is about to run out of fuel.

Also, the lease on the tibpriors.org domain name was going to expire soon. I could have renewed it for about $30 a year but I chose not to. Cost wasn't the reason; after spending nearly $4,000 on this site over the past ten years, another $30 wouldn't matter. I'm just tired of doing it, that's all.

So, how much work was it? Here's how much is online:

2 common gateway interface files
2 Excel files
3 text files
4 RealAudio files
11 Adobe Acrobat files
94 HTML files (such as the one you're viewing)
352 images

for a total of 468 files, taking up about 43 megabytes of disk space. Soon I'll dump all of those files to a CD and put it on the shelf so I can free up some space on my hard disk.. It will be interesting to look at 10 years from now.

As I look back on the past 10 years, I realize I've left an indelible mark on the program in a way that has changed many lives. For that I'm grateful that God gave me the insight to do something good for TIB back in September 1995.

I won't disappear from the TIB scene but you won't see me online much anymore.

I know how much work it can be and how much stress can be involved, as I run the website for the other organization I used to be a part of, The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps (check out the world championships on ESPN2, September 6th).

Bob and I have communicated via e-mail for most of the time the TIB site has existed, about various technical issues and things. His dedication has been extreme and I wish him plenty of relaxation in the near future. Best of luck to Chris Burch... if I can be of any help at all, let me know.

Thanks Bob!

My heartfelt thanks to you. I know that you will always be connected to TIBPRIORS.ORG
Chris Burch, you have some big shoes to fill and I have no doubt you'll make it happen! I wish you all the best as you embark on this endeavor and I pledge my support if needed.

Bob, I leave you with an Irish Blessing.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,

And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Well I guess I'll finally have to post a note on here. I read this site every day but rarely ever post anything. Now that is odd since I always have an opinion about everything and never seem to find the need to keep it to myself. And yes, that does get me in trouble sometimes. Anyway....

The rumors are true -- I have taken on the management of this site and am looking forward to figuring out exactly what that means. Seriously though, please be patient with me for a few weeks while I figure out all the details of administering this site. There will be an outage for a day or so in the not so distant future when I port the site over to my current hosting service. I'll post a message in advance to let everyone know. I don't plan to change much of anything initially, but I might add some things to make the admin side easier to deal with. One thing that I am planning for is the addition of a photo gallery into which people can post their own photos. If you have photos that want to post, just hang on to them for now -- eventually you'll be able to post them yourself. If anyone has any other ideas or suggestions, feel free to send them my way.

To Bob, I thank you for the commitment you made in starting and maintaining this site over the past decade -- it has truly been a huge component in keeping this thing we call a "family" alive and kicking. I promise not to dork it up. To everyone else, thanks for your words of support and I look forward to the challenge of keeping you all satisfied.

For those that might be wondering what I have been up to, I am now in Tampa, Florida, working for HQ CENTCOM. So far this is a great city with plenty of fun stuff to keep my ADD self pinging at full speed. If someone could turn the heat down here I would be forever grateful.

James Bowman: I might be headed up to NYC over Labor Day, so you better be in town.

Oh yeah...that's why I don't post very often...I ramble a lot.

Oh wait, I almost forgot...Jim Wintermyre...a few weeks ago you made a little comment about me getting married to Melissa Ritz (the hottest women in the world)...you are SO my new hero. Anyway, I wish and rest assured I have asked...several times...maybe she'll give in one day (le sigh)

Oops...rambling again...catch you all later.

Chris

I have been working a lot this summer and I know that I have been really bad about keeping in touch with the rest of the world. Hello,

To anyone from the cast of the 80's summer tour, would love to hear from you and also request if anyone has some cool digitized pics I could use. Sadly, I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma Stage IV in February of this year. I went through three consecutive operations in my shoulder; however, I had a followup today and the news could have gone better.

I'm working hard to create a 'digital scrapbook' for friends and family. TIB was a very memorable time in my life; unfortunately, my photography skills on that 'way out of my league SLR Camera' produced very unusable pics.

I think about many of you often! We worked so hard, never had our 'personal time' (well some of you did, and you know who you are ), but it was truly memorable in the most positive way.

I love all you insane people, particularly you guys in our horn section ('too crazy')!

It's very unfortunate that, for some reason or other, the annual WWTC and the TOPS IN BLUE program are not get the publicity they once did. I've noticed a lot of piors talking about this and decided to stop watching and "make it happen".

I'm hosting a talent showcase here at Yokota. I've coordinated through the Services Squadron here so they'll definately have their hand in it, but I wanted to put a lot of emphasis on Tops In Blue. I've seen a couple of "talent shows" here before but they were in no way tied to Tops In Blue or the WWTC.

I'm excited to see what we can do. Between myself(a prior), my wife who has worked the Teen/Family side of WW and Mr. Bob McFall a LONGTIME supporter of the program, we have a great team.

I hope to see some talent from here show up in San Antonio in November.

PRIORS--It's been upsetting to see the turn out at WW the past two years. It's our CHARGE as Tops In Blue to ensure that the program continues with the legacy and prestige it has held for the next 50+ years. GIT-R-DONE!!!!!!

I'm pretty worried after finding out the situation at Beale where they didn't know the dates for WW had changed this year. I'm sure the AFE staff are doing all they can but we all know how much work they have. Priors, time to get out there and make it happen.

Thanks Bob and Chris for keeping this home base going! I almost feel like my day isn't complete if I haven't checked in!

Lola- pictures are in the mail

Catn'Kevin - your little girl is beautiful. Congratulations!

My new job here is sooo much fun. Miss Jeri I have a newfound respect for what you PR people do!!!!! network network network...go go go... I work in the same offices as protocol and public affairs and everybody does a little bit of everybody elses job just to help out. There's some craziness but good people. I have a lot of long hours and don't even mind because there is so much to be done at any given time and it's always something different! As long as I keep retaining all that's thrown at me and stay on top of priorities...

I really wanted to be a part of the program this year but it's not looking so good. I feel like there's a pit inside of me because of it but I'll keep hoping and we'll see what happens!

In the meantime I keep dancing and performing whenever wherever. This year I get to teach 4-6 year olds in a tap/combo class. Little kids are so fun! They try so hard but those feet just don't always want to do what they're told! And I like the games we get to play! Looking forward to my second year of music education as well. I hope to someday be able to teach all the time.

I apologize for the rambling. Miss my friends and family. I love you all and think of you often.

Love hugs and smiles,

Becca

Well folks, it's official... I was medically released from my tech school. I am now waiting to find out where I go from here. I'll be returning to my old career field, but I will be allowed to try this again once I can get my legs back in working order. I was pushing myself as hard as I could, but I was forced to take a step back and look at the big picture and I saw that it was just a matter of time before I either got permanently injured or was sent home on the "failure to maintain to standards" clause (which would not give me the opportunity to return).

So there'd the story. Once I found out where I'm going, I let you all know. I'm sad and disappointed, but at least I can still walk and I still have a chance to try it again.

Thanks for all the support!

Blue love,

Kerri

Well, I guess I'm not done with the ol' South... looks like I'm Shaw-bound (ain't the AFPC site great?). Anyone know anything about there? Please tell me it's not as humid as the coastal areas!

DMC and Keesha - I won't be but a few hours from y'all, so I will be buggin you!

Yes, everything does happen for a reason, and I know someday that reason will be revealed to me. Until then (and beyond), I am in God's hands and will do what is asked of me!

Keep on keepin' on!

Blue love to y'all (I'm practicing my 'suthern')

Hello everyone! It's been quite a long time since I've posted last. Lets see...I'm taking my SSgt test on Thursday so once I pass I'll pretty much be promoted (Air National Guard way lol). Then next Saturday I'll be going to Paraguay for 2 weeks for a humanitarian mission. I'm sooo excited. I also took over a full-time position at my base so I've doubled my responsibilities at work but am fully enjoying the challenge. My father and I are building an apartment in our basement for me as well. Really looking foward to having my own space :) A lot of really cool stuff is happening now. I've applied to schools for this coming spring. I'm going for music. I won't be happy with anything else. My life plan is on its way haha lol. :) Ok, now it's time for some hello's...

Chief and Ms.Jeri: Hope all is well. Think about you often!
John: BFF...batter fried fish
Corey: I feel like its been an eternity since I've talked to you. Hope you are well and that all your dreams are coming true.
Courtney: I'm just as bad as John about not calling people back. :( I found my baby alligator the other day. It says "hi". :)
Jamie & Ashley: Good luck on all your upcoming performances!

2004: As time goes on, I'm starting to miss you more and more. You'll always be a part of my life (whether you like it or not!! haha jk!) love ya's

2005: I know you guys are doing a GREAT job out there! Keep your heads up and don't forget to smile. It really does make you feel better. Enjoy the world for every beautiful thing that it is! :)

Ok, I'm finally done!..i think. I'll let you know how Paraguay goes! :D

LOVE,

Hey everyone. Well a lot has happened to me recently. I seperated from the military Jul 22, I moved here to Louisville, and I'm about to start work and school on monday. As for music I'm playing with a local jazz band this and next weekend so far at Ceasar's Palace in Indiana so things are looking good. 2004, miss y'all. It's funny, everytime someone complains to me about hard work, I look at them and laugh inside. If they only knew.....

Bob, thanks for all the work you put into this site. You did a wonderful job for a decade and I'm sure Chris will continue that work. Chris, thank for taking on the site from Bob. It is definitely a valuable tool keeping our family together since so many of us are apart, physically.
Buffy Soens, give me a ring when you get the chance now that you are back in the area. My home number is 233-5538 and my cell is 567-3493
We definitely need to get together and let our little ones play. Glad you had a good time at your folks and that you made it back here safely. Hope to hear from you soon.
TIB 2000-Miss and love you all tons. Cat, Kevin and Sydney, thanks for the announcement. Olivia is a cutie. Hope all of you are doing well and adjusting to the new "boss".
To the rest of my family
Much Love

Hey everybody - The funniest/creepy thing is going on behind my house right now I just had to share it. I'm sure somebody will appreciate this. It's an Elvis impersonator training seminar! Oh my gosh and it's horrrrrrible!!!!! They're learning moves from each other and trying to mimic each other and get voices/sounds down. And they have a sound system to make it all louder...ugh.

I think I have to leave now and go find someting to do somewhere else.

Have a fun saturday!

Blueland- Good morning! Guess what? I tried out for American Idol Season 5 from 17-19 Aug. It was a challenging audition, but I made the final cut to perform for Paula, Simon and Randy. I would like to thank the ones who have always believed in my talent even when I did not. Regardless of the outcome, I will always admire my brothers and sisters--the power behind the Blue! Pray for me (vote).

Tom-Thank you for listening and believing in me. I will never forget your wisdom and humility.

Janet-we're almost there!

Jeri-Thank you for your support.

Percy-My mom says hi

Bernie-I have always admire your essence. You epitomize perfection and what it means to be an artist. I will always try to follow in your footsteps.

Mike Egan-Thank you. I have not forgotten about you.

99 - You know! I will never forget out experiences together. You all remain in my heart and soul. I carry your burdens along with your joy. Believe in me as I have always believed in you. We were "Just For the Fans" and now I'm "Representing You".

God bless you all

Hi Tops in Blue Folks! For those of you that remember me, I was on staff at WWTC in 2003 when I was the Community Center Director at Beale AFB. I just saw John Williams post and thought I would wish him the best of luck ever! How exciting!! I no longer work, cuz I had twins and now have 3 kids under 4! Yikes! We are PCS'ing to Mountain Home in a few weeks, so I will get to see this years show twice...yeah! I miss my involvement with TIB, but hope to help out again in the future! I would like to thank all of those I met while at WWTC for the memories. For my Beale Priors (Natalia, John, LaToya, Eddie S., Justin S-W) I had so much fun working with you over the years...good luck in your careers, in and out of the AF. I will say hi to whoever I can when the team comes to Mtn. Home. Thanks again TIB!

Just a quick note to say what up and I will be in the DC area (Waldorf/La Plata) from Monday, Aug 22 until Thursday, Aug 25. Email me & let me know if some of us can hook up. Libby & Glo have my info.

Saw the last show in Colorado Springs. It's a cool show with songs I remember from past shows. The babies were so very tired but they did good. Keep up the good work, 2005!!!

To Tops in Blue 2005

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your tour for a few days.

I wish you all the best and would say more, but I have to get a few hours of sleep before classes start tomorrow.

To all the priors, Glow, Tom, Jerry, Doug, Berry and all else from the past it was great to see you again!

If I was ever in the way, sorry about that, however indications are I was of value. Thank you for that!

Have a great tour and take care of one another. As the team gets tighter and tighter you will all see the true value and meaning of a team. You already are experiencing that, but the tour is so young.... Well you willllll seeee......

Go Air Force!!!

Go Tops in Blue!!!!

First of all to TIB 2005, as the days, not necessarilly slow down, but rather as you learn how to prioritize your free time, I hope to see you guys posting. Until then, God Speed and best wishes. You're always in the forefront of our minds and prayers.

Next, I ask that all my family keep my in their thoughts and prayer the next few days. We've begun "pitching" our show to the Enlisted Club here at Yokota with the hopes of getting other E-Clubs in the area on board. Hopefully we don't get shot down right away (we've got lots of VPs to build, LOL)

WALT-I'll be trying to get in touch with you soon, probably via email.

Erin-saw your post. Best of luck to you, baby girl. You've got an open invite here at IMAGE Studios if you even want to "pimp some tracks" as Jamell would say.

2005 left their mark on Colorado Springs & Denver! 1st time working their full set, & did a great job. Lots of talent--Lots of heart. It was a blessing to see Col Reilly again, & a joy to hang out w/the other priors old & new. (CC-sorry I missed you lady!) Chief, it was great chatting. Barry, Jeri, Carol, Slim, Ma-Sistah-Glo, you're all still BEAUTIFUL & still giving all you have to make it happen--Lord have MERCY! Col Smith--I still submit that "it was your fault."
Team '05 -- Stay on it! "The long & winding road" can be grueling; but as you are sitting at the banquet table, you will realize the magnitude of your accomplishments & the value of your link in the indestructible BLUE family chain.

Lets see, I'm gonna try to come up w/a "Jai-ism"...
"Bluer than a tongue that just finished a Firecracker popsicle?"
......OK--I'll stick to my own closing.

Love to ALL,

Just got back from 2 weeks of stage construction and designing "seminar" with TIB 05. Also went to the Colorado shows to assist. The team performed well and accomplished an outstanding first set up time of 8 hours as opposed to the 20 hour first set up on the 02 tour. WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I was very impressed with the talent and the feeling that "failure is not an option". As we all know, in TIB the show will go on and this team exemplifies this. I wish them health and happiness during these next first trying months getting used to the new set and everything that goes with it. No matter what gets thrown at you guys keep your heads up and keep pressing forward and you will be successful.

I'll be seeing you down the road,

Poppa Grady

Poppa Grady, my brotha from a different motha. Good to see you still doing your thang to help out....orthopedic shoes and all...LOL

GOOD NEWS!!! I threw out the line for our showcase and they bit it. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! I'm producing my own show!!!! I'm excited(can you tell?). Now we're starting to negotiate costs. I'm praying for $3000 for the first show, keep us in your prayers.

Chief--Thanks for everything. I'd never have had the "nuggets" to think I could pull something like this off had I never been blessed with TOPS IN BLUE. Thanks for seeing in us what we sometimes fail to see.

Edward--my brother of a different color. I can already see myself using an "Ed-ism" or two while I'm running these rehearsals. Love ya more collard greens and ketchup.

If there are any priors stopping through the Tokyo area, we could always use a hand building VPs and props and such....LOL

Alright, that's it, i'm out, gonna go celebrate...but before I go I've got one for Francine

Congrats John Williams. Go get 'em dawg. TIB 05 I just wanted to quickly post and tell you that my prayers and thoughts are with you and the AFE staff. Chief taught us how to make magic on stage and believe me there are people who will always want to see more. Jai, good on you man. Excuses are easy to come by, that's why so many people have them. But you went for it. El, miss ya man. Shane I'm in Europe and Australia for a minute but I'll shoot you and Gregg a call when I can.

Hey everyone... Life's pretty crazy here on Korea. They aren't lying when they say Korea is just one long exercise. Thankfully for me, I usually don't play too much in them since I'm in a tenant unit. However, we're playing this exercise so I'm pretty busy. It's fun, but -- and Ed you are most likely going to flip here -- I almost wish I had got to tour again. Yes Laura and Erin and John, I did just say that... WWTC definitely did something to me.

Anyway... Just wanted to say thanks to Erin, Laura, and Jai for the birthday shoutouts. Laura, you confused me though... I read your post, but I wasn't sure who Michael Manfredonia was.. you've never called me anything but Manfred.

Jamie, I promise I'll get on the shirts, but currently we're on lock down for exercise. Have been for a while. Will be through next week. As soon as possible though, I'm downtown ordering them shirts. I still got your emails and everything. As far as your show goes, you got dates yet? email me. I'll see what I can do.
